How to adjust the grinding level of your EQ.500 coffee machine.
Set the desired grinding level while the coffee beans are being ground.
| Grinding Level | Setting |
|---|---|
| Fine grinding level for dark-roaster beans. | Turn rotary selector counter-clockwise. |
| Coarse grinding level for light-roasted beans. | Turn rotary selector clockwise. |
Tip:
If the coffee is only dispensed drop by drop, set a coarser grinding level. If the coffee is too thin with too little crema, set a finer grinding level.
Note:
- The grinder rotates: never reach into the grinder.
- The grinder may be damaged if the grinding level is not set properly: only set the grinding level when the grinder is running.
- The setting will only come into effect after the second cup of coffee.
