General everyday cleaning of your EQ.6 plus coffee machine.

  • Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Clean the control panel with a microfiber cloth.
  • Pull the drip tray and coffee grounds container towards the front and remove them. Take off the panel and drip plate. Empty and clean the drip tray and coffee grounds container.
  • The drip tray and coffee grounds container should be emptied and cleaned every day in order to prevent deposits.
  • Wipe out the inside of the appliance (holder, trays) and the drawer for ground coffee (this cannot be removed).
  • Remove the float and clean it with a moist cloth (depends on the type of appliance).

Notes.

If the appliance is cold when switched on, or if it is switched off after dispensing coffee, it rinses automatically.

The system is therefore self-cleaning.

Important: If the appliance is not used for a lengthy period (e.g. while you are on holiday), clean the entire appliance thoroughly, including the beverage dispenser, milk system, drip tray and brewing unit.
